Sydney Railway Accident.

Sydney, March 1. The jury, witnesses ami exports visited the scone.

Mr Carrol hers pointed out whore ho saw the broken fish plate, and declared that it had been replaced. Exports examined the plate, ami swore that it had not.' The Engineer-in-Chiof of Railways said that the condition was good, but ho was sorry to have to cake the responsibility of running the class of engine like tho one derailed over the lino at the rate of GO miles an hour. The Engineor-in-Ohief’s opinion is that the chief cause of the accident was the excessive speed*
