American Steel Trust.

New York, March 1, The commissions received by Mr Pierpont Morgan for forming the steel trust, buying and re-sell - ing the Pennsylvania Coal Company and floating the New Jersey Central Railroad bonds, amounted in twelve weeks to 11,750,000 dollars. A rival steel trust has been formed in America with a capital of ten million sterling. Mr Pierjpoint Morgan, head of the other trust, holds 40,000,000 dollars as a fund to fight -opponents.
