Sydney, March 1. The writs for the New South Wales Senate elections will bo issued on March sth, and will be.-re-turnable on April 10th. The writs for the House of Representatives election will be issued on March 11th, and will be returnable on April 16th. Brisbane, March 1. Messrs Barton and Drake addressed meetings at Maryborough and Gympie. Nominations closed to-day for the Federal Senate. Fifteen were received in Brisbane, including Mr Drake, the Federal Postmaster - General, and Messrs Thyne and Cowley, members of the Council, and Messrs Glassey, Higgs, Dawson, Stewart and MacDonald, labour members in the Assembly.
