Waihao Murder Case.
Jeremiah McCarthy, who was sentenced *o seven years' imprisonment at Timaru recently on a charge of Incest, and who is serving the sentence in Lyttleton Gaol, vas taken south by the express train on Monday morning. He was brought to Timaru yesterday and will bo cbavpe l this morning at the Magistrate’s Court with tbe murder of a swagger, believed to be named Sullivan, who was found dead on the road about five years ago. Inspec tor El i-( n also came down to conduct the prosecution.
