The Royal Family.
Queen Viof.oria was the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Kent, and niee* of King William IV. She was born on May 24, 1819, succeeded to the throne on the death of her uncle, Kiug William IV., and was married to the Prince Coasart February 10, 1340, The foilotring were ihs issue of the
marriage:—
H. I. M. Victoria, Empress Frederick, of Germany, Princess Royal, who married Frederick, tJbe Crown Prince of Prussia, and afterwards German Emperor. Their oldes r . son, the reigning Emperor of Germany, is therefore grandson of the Queen. H.R.H. Princa of W-afos, who married Princess Alexandra, tha eldest daughter of the King of Denmark.
H.R.H. Alice Maud Mary, bora, April 25, 1848, married July 1, 186!, H. R. H. Louis IV, Gracd Daks of Hesse, died December 14, 187 S.
H.R.H. Alfred Earnest Albert, Duke of Edinburgh and Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, bom August G, 18-14, married on January 23, 1874, the Grand Maria, of Russia, H.R.H. Helena Augusta Victoria, born May 25. 1816, married July fi, 1866, Prince Frederick Christian C.A. of Sohleswig-Hol-stein.
H.R.H. Louiso, born March 13, ISI6, married March 21, 1871, ijhs Marquis of Lorno. H.R.H. Arthur W.P.A, Duke of CoaDaughi, Bora May 1, 1860, married Mireh 13, 1879, Princess Louis* Margaret. H.B.H. Leopold G D.A., Duke of Albany, born April 7, 1853, married April 27, 1882, Princess Helen.
H.R.H. Baataca Mary Victoria Feodora, b.jrn Aoril 14, 1857, and married July 23, 1885, Prince Henry Maurice of Battenberg,
