A representative 'of the Daily Telegraph interviewed Dr L ydi and Mr Fischer at Brussels. Both declare that the struggle tv'll continue, and are confident that the Boers will regain their independence.
Lord Kitchener reports that three agents of the Orauge Peace Committee, w ere taken prisoners to De Wet’s laager, near Liudley> on January 10, and all were flogged De Wet’s orders. One British subject was also shot.
