The little townshfp of St. Andrews donned its holiday aLtire on Thursday afternoon, the occasion being the wedding of Miss Jane WederelJ, of Sfc Andrews, and Mr Collie, of the Customs Department, TJmaru, Tie ceremony was performed by the Vicar of the parish, the Rev. L. C Brady, and the little Anglican Church,"" ~ gaily decorated with flowers, was taxed to ifc3 utmost capacity to hold the many fronds of the young couple who had assembled. The bride's costume wis of white velvet trimmed with lace and chiffon, ai?d she also wore the usual veil, decked with orange blessoms. The bridesmaids, Miss ColKe, Miss Marian WederelJ, Miss Irene Collie and Nina Wodorall, wore pretty white costumes, and each carried a bouquet of spring flowers. As the bridal party walked down the aisle the organist, Mr J. Proudlock, played the '• Wedding March," and the young folk who had assembled outside scattered flowers over the happy couple as they left the church amid the congratulations of their Iriends.
