Sir, — I ha\e the honour to acknovi lcdgo the receipt from you of h. memo''ial dated th£ 7th inst., from the Justices of the Peace at Waimato, with reference to the sittings of the Magistrate's Court iv that borough. 1 rag ret that any incomeniojtice should have l)een caused by the unavoidable abseuee of a magistrate on eortftin of the fiXed Court clays, bufc its there is no likelihood of Major Koddell being agun det'Aehod from lilb ordinary dunes, I hope that in fut ire he will be able to keep his engagements regularly. — I have the honour to be, Sir, your humble servant, J.vh, MoGowan.
