A. and P. Association.

A meeting of the committee of tho above was held in the County Council Chambers on Saturday afternoon. The secretary was empowered to led the Show Ground for grazing purposes at the rate of 10s per night for any number of sheep between 800 and 1000. The tender of the Waimatb Advkb* tiser for the Association's printing etc.. was accepted. The Implement Importers' Associa. tion wrote advising that the association had decided not. to exhibit' at the Waimate Show in future. The secretary was instructed to write to the President of the Association (Mr G. T. Booth) and ask the association to continue exhibiting.

GENERAL MEETING. A general meeting was then held the President (Mr W. H. Beckett) presiding over a large attendance of members. Messrs G, Dash, JF. Rlee ana Fisher were elected members of the Association. The Chairman reported that the committee had accepted the tender of Mr H. Saun<3er3 (£35) for the erection ot horse stalls. Three tenders were received for the erection of a dairy produce shed, Mr J. Presland's tender (£49 11s) being accepted, provided that well seabon timber be used. An amendment that consideration of the matter be held over for a year was rejected. Messrs OBrien, McLean, Francis and Saunders, with the President and Vice-President, were appointed a committee to see that the timber used in the building of the dairy shed is well seasoned. The Chairman notified that Mr E. C. Studbolme had given a special prize of £o for 14 hand hacks, and Air G. W. Henderson £'6 3s for cobs between 13.2 and 14 2. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded the donors. The meeting then selected the judges for the coming Show, the appointment of stewards and the revising of the schedule being left to the following committee, who are to report to a geneial meeting :— President, VicePresident, Messrs Ruddenklau, W, Hayman, Studholme, Miller,"Saundeis and Mitchell. A vote of thanks to the chair closed the meeting.
