Present — Messis Sinclair (chair), Walker, and MiNom (Pro cession Committee), Colville (Fire Brigade), Mathias (Caledonian Society ), C. Dash ("Band), Captain Garland (Mounted Rifles), Lieutenant Jackson (Wnimnto Rifles), Buckingham (Silva tion Army). Scott (Star Cycling Club). Mme 1 ? (Oddfellows), Grant (Foresters), and Pike (Maori Race). The chairman stated that the moot ing had been called to determine the order of the procos'iion on Demon-Ora-tion Day. They could not get together a largo enough number of players, and farther they could not get, a suitable room for praCi^ing, o-vinq | to their being^ refused admittance to the drill shed. After Mr C. File Dngftdo. Borough and County Councils. Hockey Club. Football Club. Oddfellows' Lodge. It was decided that tha Salvation Army change places with uhe OddfallowH, and bring up the rear with their band. Mr Jackson stated that a traction engine had beeu arranged for, for an armoured train. Mr Akburst suggested that lbs Wairaate Rifles defend the srmourad train, and the^'MttUflted" Rffles and '"Wills' Brigade" with r lffew^Long Tom and Maxim form an attacking party. This was was considered a, good idea, and is to be acted upon.
