Donald Reid and Co. report that prices ruled as under at their aucSion tales to-day : Oats. — We submitted an average catalogue of medium to good feed oats. Tksre was a fair attendance of buyers, and undei fair competition the catalogue was cleared at quotations. We quote :— Prime milling, Is 6J. to Is 7d ; good to bflsnfeed, Is id to Is 5d ; medium, is 3d ffa Is 4d pet bushel (.aeks extra ) * Wheat. —Prime milling is in fair de in&nd at late quotations. Medium quality, which has been quite neglected ibt st me time, commands the ittcntion of shippers, and late rallies for fowl wheat aie; well maintained. V/e quote: — Prime miiUng, 2s 5d to 2* 6sd par oushel (saoks in; ; inetiium, 23 Id to 2s 4d ; whole fowl wheit, Id lid to 2a ; broken, etc., Is 9d te 1^ lOd. Potatoes.— The market is well supplied, and ip the absence of dem-ind fiorn outsids rjiuiltets ther^ is no improvement in piiees. We quote:— Best Derwents, £1 16^ tq £2 ; others, £1 10a to £1 15s per ton (sacks in). Chaff. — Prime oaten sheaf commands enquiry, but medium and inferior sorts Hie not in request. We quote :— Best oaten sheaf, £2 10ri to £2 15s 6d ; medium to good, £2 to £2 7s 6d per ton (bags extta).
