Theie has been a good demand fiom miileis and from buyers for export, and during the week considerable sales ho.ye been made at prices up to a j penny above recent quotations, There is a fair quality of wheat on offer, and any suitable lines can le placed vrhere the price asked is within the buyeis' limits. The steamer Hawkes Bay, which has just arrived from New York, will load for London »t Lyttelton and Napier.
