Donald Reid and Co., Limited, report that prices ruled as under, at their auction sale to day : Oats. — Buyers are not disposed to operate, except for immediate orders, and most of the lines on offer to-day were passed in as competition was weak. We quote -.—Prime milling, Is 9d to Is lOd ; good to best feed, Is 8d to Is B£d ; medium, Is 6d to Is 6£d per bushel, sacks extra. *Wheatl — t rime milling quality of all kinds is in fail? densand at late quotations. Medium quality does not receive much attention. Good whole fowl wheat is readily saleable at quotations, but broken and damp samples are not in request. We quote : — Prime milling, 2s 5d to 2s 6 Jd; medium, 2s Id to 2a 4d ; whole fowl wheat, Is lid to 2s ; broken and damaged, Is 8d to Is lOd per bushel, sacks in. Potatoes. — Most of those coming forward are in good condition, and readily sold at late values. We quote :— Best Derwents, £2 7s 6d to £2 10s ; others, £2 to £2 5s per ton, sacks in. Chaff.— Prime quality was in fair demand at prices a shade in advance of late quotations. Medium quality, however, was plentiful and not readily quitted. We quote :— Best oaten sheaf, £2 10a to £2 12s 6d; extra heavy to £2 15s; medium to good, £2 to £2 7s 6a per ton, bags extra.
