Library Committee.

A meeting of this committee was held last evening ; present — Messrs Hamilton (chair), Scott, Wills, Mann, Smith, Dean, (sec.) and Rev. McKenzie Gibsop. The caretaker reported having collected £4 10s for subscriptions, which I were coming in better now, though there were several yet outstanding. Mr Menzies had gone through the books and classified them. Tenders for papers were opened, th«se of Messrs J. Scott and B . Gr. Baxter being accepted, - ■«
