Rifle Shooting. WAIMATE Y. GERALDINE.
On Thursday a shooting match took place between the Waiaiate No. 2 team and Geraldine, afc Geraldine range. The weather was most unfavourable, and the light not too good. Waimate fired in the morning and Geraldine in tile's* evening after business hours. The match was a close one, Waimate winning by four points. - The conditions of thejmatch were 10 shots at 400 yards with one optional sighter.Bisley targets and scoriug. The scored are as under : —
