Messrs Donald Reid and >Co. report that prices ruled aa tinder at their auction sale 'to-day :—: — Oats. — We quoted a few lines of medium quality at Is lOd to Is lid per bushel. For good to best feed there were no buyers present, but the demand for export is firm at Jate quotations, prime short teed, A and B grade, receiving most attention. Long oats, excepting Danish, are not in request, but the latter, if prime, are readily j>laced at about Is lid per bnshel. We quote : Prime miliing, 2s ; good to best feed, 2s to 2s 0 l-2d; medium, Is lOd to Is lid per bushel. Sacks extra. Wheat. — Prime milling, velvet and tuscan is in good demand at late quotations and is placed without difficulty at 2s 5d to 2a 6d per bushel. Medium is still neglected and nominally worth 2s 3d to 2s 4d. Whole fowl wheat finds buyers at 2s to 2s 2d ; broken and damaged, Is 9d to Is lid per bushel. Sacks in. Potatoes. — We quote : Best kidneys, £3 ; medium, £2 lOd to £2 15 per ton. Sacks in.
