Commercial. DUNEDIN MARKETS. (By Telegraph.) Dunedin, Jan. 22.
Messrs Donald Roid and Co report that prices ruled aa under at their auction sale to-day :—: — Oats. — We sudmitted a small catalogue : of medium to good feed oats. The attendance of buyers was limited, and as bidding in most cases was not up to our ra! nations the bulk of the catalogues was passed in. There is a steady demand for export at prices on a par with late quotations. We quote prime milling 2s Id, good to best feed 2s to 2e o£d, medium to good Is lOd to Is lljd per bushel (sacks extra). Wheat.— Prime velvet and tUEcan is in fair demand at 2s od to 23 6d, niodmm ' quality dull at 2s 3d to 2s 4d. Good fowl wheat is saleable at 2s to 2s 2d. broken and damp Is 9d to Is lid per bushel (sacks in.) Potatoes. — We offered only medium quality, which Bold at 2a lOd per ton, (sacks in). Chaff.— The demand is still confined to prime oaten sheaf, other sorts being almost neglected. We quote best oaten sheaf £3 to £3 2s 6d, fair to good £2 10s to £2 15s, medium and infeuor £2 to £2 7s Gd pei ton (bags extra).
