Hospital Board.
The usual monthly meeting of tb ' Hospital Board vms held ye9terda\ present — Messrs Dougluo, Walkei Studholme, Hardie, Atwill, Henderson and Dr Barclay. Mr Sinclair, the chairman, apolologised, as he was unwell. > Mi- Douglas was voted to the chair. I The minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed. The surgeon reported that 9 males I tod 3 females had been admitted during the month, 8 nrakfo and 3 females hud been discharged, leaving 4 males and 5 females now undei ' treatment. £8 4s had been paid during the month. From the County Council, reporting that Messrs Douglas, Henders6n. Walker, Studholme, and Hardie are to represent that council on the board. Prom Borough reporting that Messrs R. L.kster and F. W. S. Jones represent the Borough Council. Dr Baiclav brought up the matter of n. sewing machine for the hospital. — It was decided to get one, to cost not more th \n £5. Mrs Neal, the lady inspector, had lately vibited the hospital, and had found everything satisfactory, Messrs Douglas and Atwill were appointed visitors for the ruOnth. Accounts amounting to i£sB 9a 6d were pasb^d, and the board rose.
