The French Nationalist papers declaie that Captain Dieyfus' denials, weie curt and unconvincing. The Temps and Figaro asseit that his whole bearing is one of peaceful calmness and canies the conviction of innocence. Dieyfus anticipates an immediate release. The examination of the seciet dossiei and thiee hundred documents is pioceeding in the piesence of prisoner and counsel. Exbaordinary piecautions have been taken to piotecfc- Captain Dreyfus on the way between the puson and the courthouse, as assassination is feared. Speotatois aie expelled from the vicinity, and householdeis compelled to keep within doois.
