A case of assault was heaid, one man havstruck another in the face, necessitating medical treatment. After evidence had been heaid on both sides, defendant was fined LI, with costs 35s 6d, and solicitors fee LI Is, half the fee to go to informant for medical attendance. A counter chaige of using offensive language •was dismissed.
