Noith Island bullocks sold at £7 5s to £8 2s (3d, Canterbury steers £6 10s to £7 12& Gd for pood, and down to £4 ss, heiteis £15 10s to £5 ss, and cows £3 2s 6d to £5 os. Sheep.— Tbeie was a lair yarding of fat sheep, but veiy ipw lines of heezers, and buyeis for this class weie not opeiatingi Good tiade e\ves about held their own. but other got ts were weakei. Piime wetheis sold at 13s 6d to 15s 2d. otheis down to 11s 6d, wethers and maiden ewes 10s 9d to 13s (id, prime hade ewes 10s to l£s, medium 8s to 9s 9d, and inferior os 9d to 7b 6rl. Store sheep of all classes were well repiesented, but the only line 1 .which held its own was good sourid breeding ewes. Other classes weie easier.
