SfIEEP. 2968 fat sheep were penned, including the first of the snorn sheep. The quality compared favourably with last week's, the shorn sheep being extra heavy and primei Prices suffered a drop of Is to 2s a head, the whole going to the trade. Best wethers brought 14s 6d to 17s 6d, othera 12s 6d to 14s 3d, best ewes 13s 6d to 15s, others 10s 6d to 13s, merino wethers 13s» shorn wethers 10s 6d to 14s, one pen extra prime shorn 15s 6d. Fat lambs ranged from 8s 6d to 10s 9d.
GBAIIf. Wheat is arriving freely but there is little outlet except at lower rates. Bales have been made of northern Velvet at 8a A ll 4, tuscan 3s 9cl, fowl wheat 3s 3d, all good samples of their class. ; Oats. — There is a better demand for shipment, but there is but little if any improvement in value. Best milling is quoted at Is lid, best feed Is lOd to Is 18£ d, other grades Is 3d to Is 9£d ; sacks extra.
