Two workmen, narned'Tom andJDuncan respectively, were discussing in a friendly manner certain family matters when Tqm remarked that his daughter was abont .to be married to a Captain. " D'ye tell me so ?" said Duncan, ".A Captain I Is he a naval Captain, a Meelitia, or a Volunteer?" " Na, na, Duncan ; nane o' they trash. He's a fitba' captain."
