A change has Again taken place in -the staff at our local Bailway station, iCadet Fowk having been transferred to BangioEa. Mr Fowk was a vbtj obliging officer and much appreciated by «very one. Before bis lea-vring he was presented with ji trareUing trunk. The presentation was made bj Mr Mann, who spoke in eulogistic terms of Mr Fowk's treatment of the public while ,at StudhoJme. Messrs Low, Williams .and Rich .also spoke and expressed regret At Mr Fowk's departure. Mr .Caro, his successor, has already proved himself a capable And most obliging officer. There is still more .evidence of the progress of the district; more buildings jure being erected.
