October 10. General Lersunde has received his commission as Governor-General of the island of Cuba, and will depart immediately for Havana, to fill the vacancy occasioned by the death of GovernorGeneral Manzano. Advices from South America, just received, state that the Spanish fleet continued at Monte Video.
