Our aclvice3 from Melbourne are to the 14th instant. The half-chests realised up to 2s Sd, and the chests found buyers at up to 2s Gd. prices which fully sustain current rates, and were considered satisfactory. Of sugars, about 9700 bags of Bourbon sorts were offered, an 1 somo 3679 bags were placed. Low rations brought 20s 3d, 2is 9d, and good j rations 24s to 255 ; browns realised 27s 9d ; yellow counters sold at 32s 3d, yellow crystals at 34s 3d to 3ls 6d ; grey crystals brought 35s 6d. The Mary Miller's damaged portion of Mauritius sugars, to the extent of 1200 bags, were likewise quitted at satisfactory prices, condition considered. Sales of coarse salfc were effected at LI, while fine stoved salfc was disposed of at L 4 10s. In tobacco, wo hear of a lino of fifty cases of half-pounds dark having brought close on Is 4d. In Dundee goods, Aye loam «of one or two parcels of woolpacks haviug been sold at 43 1 J-d, and sales of cornsacks aro reported at 11s 7.U1. We are informed that a small parcel of genuine Mocha coffee, the first that has been imported direct, has come forward by the mail steamer. Currants meet with buyers at 3£d. The lumber ex Julia Ann, Eunnymede, South America, Keltic Chapin, and Surprise, consisting of clear pine, white pine (T and G-), white oak, &c., and the cedar ex Look-out and Eliza Blanche, were disposed of by auction. la liquids, geneva continues to bo moved off at 10s for JDKZ, 1000 cases having been placed. Brandy has also been largely sold. About 1000 cases of Henuessy's were quitted at 26s 3d and 26s 6d, while towards the afternoon 26s 9d was realised for a small parcel ; holders now generally ask 275. Some 600 cases of Otard's were disposed of at 21s 9d; the agents, however, have notified that they do not intend to sell more at anything like this figure. A shipment of seventyfive quarters of Hennessy's brandy in bulk was sold (to arrive) on private terms. Sales of Martell's case brandy are mentioned at 23s 6d. A pai*cel of common red wine has found a purchaser at Ll4.
