The debate on the motion " that the House do resolve itself into Committee of Supply was resinned by Mr Wynn Williams, who advocated retrenchment, and expressed his opinion against the appointment of commissions as being unconstitutional. Mr Bbotvn also stated that lie was dissatisfied with the Estimates. The PnoviNCiAi. Secbetaby having briefly replied, the motion was put and passed, but the only item considered in the West Coast Estimates was the sum of LI 400, under the head of the Commissioner's department, which was voted, and the House resumed.
