BRAZIL.

Revolutions have broken out in Catamaria and Gordova. The Governors of both provinces were driven away. On the 10th July the allies attacked the advanced posts of the Paraguayans, but were repulsed. The allied armies recommenced the attack on the 16th instant, and obtained a temporary advantage. They were, however, subsequently driven back behind their entrenchments, and lost 280 officers, 8000 men, and a considerable quantity of war material.
