The indictment framed against Jefferson Davis specifies that on the 1 5th June, 1864, he conspired with others to overthrow the Government of the United States.

It is reported that the trial will come eff early in June.

Davis's health is rapidly failing ; the rigor of his confinement has been relaxed. He expresses himself pleased at the prospect of his speedy trial. At a Fenian \nass meeting at John's Wood, New York, less enthusiasm, was displayed. Neither Roberts nor Sweeney was present. Stevens, however, made a long speech on the progress of Fenianism.
