The Queen and the Royal Family are in good health at Osborne. The marriage of Prince Christian and the Princess Helena was fixed to take place in July, and the marriage of the Princess Mary of Cambridge to Prince Teck, on the 12th June.
Serious apprehensions are entertained of a visitation of cholera in England.
Emigration from Ireland to America is still increasing.
The hop harvest promises an abundant yield. At the Epsom meeting the Derby was won by Lord Lvod's Stockwell. *
The second and third races were also won by the same horse.
