Offenoes against the LioensiNO Aot. — Sovon holders of publicans' licenses, viz., Messrs M'Goveran, Paino, Caßsett & Savet, M'lntosh, nino, Blouorete, and Casoy wero fined 20s each for keeping their houses open aftor 11 o'olook. SEOTION DISPUTES. Thomas Noith v.J. J. Adams— This wag a complaint on tho part of Thomas North that tho dofendant had taken possession of a part of Section 209. It \ins proved that tho ground in dispute was a roadway, and the case was dismissed, Thomas Pile v. Charles, Linniman —This was nn action to eject tho dofendant from Section 753. The decision was adjourned till tho 19tU instant, in order to give the Warden an opportunity of visiting tbe ground. Virginia M'lntosh v. J. 11. Horn. -A complaint that tho dofendant had encroached on plaintiffs ground, section 789, by placing piles on it for the purposo of building, Complainant failed to provo her oaso, and judgment was given for tho defoudant. Alexander M'Kinlay v. Edward Barton.— Another complaint of a similar /mtttro for oncroaohment on a section on the sandspit Barton, it appearod, had bought tho sito from a man named Quintor, who had no business licenso, and jmlgmont was thoroforo givon for the complainant. Horniok v. Walker. — A complaint of encroachment on seotion 751. Judgment for plaintiff. At tho termination of this case tho defondai\t, Mr Walker, said that he hud defended tho case Rolely to determine his right, and he proseated, through the waulen, the sum of L 5 to the Hospital. This was all the business of the Court-, WhicU was then adjourned to this day,
