NOTICE. TWENTY POUNDS REWARD. T^ HERE AS On tho ovoning of 26th inst. thoro was stolon from tho safe of Messrs Morison, Law, & Co., Gold, Notes, and Silver to the amount of £200. And WHEBEis it is known that £100 of tho above surn> consisting of £10, £5, and £1 notes has been planted (supposed to bo contained in a large envelope) tho ABOVE REWARD Will be paid to any person bringing tho said £100 to tho Superintendent of Police, or giving such information as will load to tho recovery of tho samo. And as part of the stolen notes consisted of Two £10 notes, numbored 711$ and 1221 Two £5 nOtes, numbered 3&81 and 5150; and Ono £5 note, supposed to bo marked THN on book, Tho publio aro HEREBY CAUTIONED Against recoiving notes issuod by any of tho banks bearing tho above numbers. Tho town is bounded on tho north by tho Cemetery-road, and by a lino in continuation of that road for a distance of 90 chains ; on tho cast by a lino at right angles to tho former line ; on Iho South by the Hokitika River; and on tho Wost by tho 'Soa Beach.
