Tho second race was — The Hurdle Hack, of 30 soys., over four flights of hurdles, 3ft. Cm. -, weight list. 1£ miles. Mr. Bowden's.b.g. Shicor ...(Bowden) 1 Mr. Jones' b.g. Stockman, aged 2 Mr. Young's ch.g. Cardinal 3 Thoso woro all tho starters, and Shicor Avon easily. Tlio next rnco was — The Towx Plate of 40 soys. Weight samo as in Maiden Plate ; winners to carry 6lbs penalty ; 2 miles. Mr Da Silva's b g 'Highflyer, aged, (Owen) 1 Mr Oakos' b g Fußloman 2 Mr Melody's Maid of Erin 3 Mr Bowdcn's b g Shicor 0 Mr M'Carthy's bk m Alico 0 Tho Packer's Purse was won by Mr Graham's Sam M'Parland, beating ten othors, and tho Consolation Stakes were won by Alico, ulso beating a good fiolcl.
