MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close as under for — Kanieri, at 9 a.m. of each Wednesday and Saturday. Wairaea, at 4.30 p.m. of Wednesday and Saturday. Greenstone, at 4.30 p.m. of Wednesday. Overland mail for Christohurch will close at 7 a.m . on Monday mornings until further notice. No lute letter fee will be charged. All letters outwards (except those for Nelson) will in future, by order of the Chief Postmastor, Christchuroh, be forwarded weekly, overland to Christchurch, unless otherwise specially addressed. A Post Oltico is now established at the Totara, and mails for the above will close at 9 a.m. of every Friday. MICHAEL KEOGH, Postmaster. Hokitika, 4th September, 1865.
