SKELETON UNEARTHED IN DUNCAN STREET

Obviously of a very great age, but in a good state of preservation, a human skeleton was dug up from a garden in a Duncan Street, Wanganui East, residence a few days ago. The police have the matter in hand, although it is believ id that the skeleton ha s been in the ground longer than Duncan Street has been in existence, and that its find Is not connected with any previous investigations they have undertaken. The discovery was made when the occupier of the premises was digging a hole to bury some rubbish.
