MOCK SPINACH The green leaves ot French beans, picked off the stem, washed thoroughly and put into boiling water and cooked until tender, make an excellent green vegetable. Add salt and a little carbonate of soda, and cook till tender; then chop finely and add a piece of butter and a little pepper.
