HERRIES MEMORIAL CUP
PRESENTATION OF TROPHY Following the running of the Herries Memorial Cup at Te Aroha last Saturday, the gold cup accompanying the stake was presented to Messrs. M. B. and S. B. Abbot, owners of Llangollen, by the Hon. P. C. Webb, Minister of Labour. Llangollen was turned out in splendid condition by H. B. Abbot, who has had a successful run in leading handicaps lately, having won in the previous fortnight the Rotorua Cup and the Storey Memorial Handicap with Scotland.
