NEGLIGENT CYCLIST FINED
UNDER INFLUENCE OF DRINK 1 At the Magistrate’s Court, at Wanganui yesterday, Edward Sutherland, ;a cyclist, was fined £3 (costs 15s), by 'Mr. J. H. Salmon, S.M., for negligent J riding. : Highways Inspector D. Burdett said jthat defendant, who was under the in<fluence of liquor, rode the bicycle at iFutiki, and was wobbling along the •road. The inspector had difficulty in stopping him.
