MARTON CROQUET CLUB

INTER-CLUB MATCHES (Own Correspondent.) MARTON, Feb. 27. On Tuesday of last week, tow teams from the Marton Croquet Club journeyed to Mangaweka and Hunterville and were victorious in both games. Mesdames Mclndoe, Wiliams, True and Evans went to Mangaweka to play for the Simpson Cup and won by 5 points. The Mangaweka team comprised Mesdames Mahoney, Bailey, Watkins, and Sutherland. At Hunterville, Mesdames Hamer. Watson, Green and Smith played for the Hunterville Cup, winning by 1 point. The Hunterville team was represented by Mesdames W. Smith, SWatford, J. Dickie and Boswell.
