RETURN OF TREASURES LONDON, Feb. 24. The Paris correspondent of the Exchange Telegraph Company says it is understood that General Jordana, acting on instructions by General Franco, asked Senator Berard last night that France be requested to hand over the gold stocks of the Bank of Spain, at present deposited in Paris, and to return all art treasures and all republican war materials, on the ground that they are now the rightful property of thte nationalists. General Jordana is reported to have stated that General Franco is willing to take back refugees without reprisals. Penal offenders w'ould be charged in the criminal Courts. There would be no persecutions for political acts.

COMPLETE AGREEMENT REACHED Received Feb. 26, 8.50 p m. BURGOS, Ijpb. 26. Senator Berard and General Jordana have reached complete agreement regarding the return from the Bank of France of Spain’s gold and other treasures, the repatriation 400,000 refugees, and the resumption of communications.
