WEDDING OF RANGIWAHIA INTEREST

REILLY—SPRING A pretty wedding of Rangiwahla interest was solemnised recently at All Saints’ Church, Foxton, when Hazel Victoria, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Spring, of Foxton, was married to Leslie John, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Reilly, of Rangiwahia. The Rev. E. W. Burgin was the officiating minister. Escorted by her lather, the bride looked charming in a model gown of ivory French satin, embossed will, gold. It was designed on slim-fitting lines, the bodice featuring the new heart-shaped neckline and sleeves pulled at the shoulder and tight-fit-ting at the wrists. The skirt flared from the waist to form a slight train. Her beautiful tulle veil, which was embroidered in gold, was held in place with a coronet of orange blossom, and she carried a lovely sheaf ol cream gladioli roses and chrysanthemums. Attending the bride was her sister, Miss Fiona Spring, who was frocked in eau-de-nil green Swiss embroidered organza, made with tight-fitting bodice with puffed sleeves, the skirt being slightly flared at the hemline. I The waist was encircled with a wide sash of green and mauve georgette and she wore a veil of green tulle. A bouquet of matching flowers finished a very pretty ensemble. Miss Dell Spring, cousin of the bride, and Barry Bowater, nephew of the bride, were train-bearers. The former was wearing an accordion-pleated frock ol mauve floral georgette and a halo ol mauve flowers, gold leaves and ribbon. She carried a posy to tone, while the latter was attired in a cream'satin suit, with accordion-pleated trimming.

Mr. Arthur- Reilly, brother of the bride, officiated as best man.

As the bridal party left the church the bride was presented with a gold horseshoe by her little niece, Diane Bowater.

The reception was held at the Town Hall supper room, where the guests were received by Mrs. W. Spring and Mrs. Reilly. Mrs. Spring was attired in a black redingote over a black floral frock, with black hat and accessories to Lone.

Mrs. Reilly was wearing a mermaid blue frock with matching hat and accessories. The beautiful three-tiered wedding cake was made and given by the bride's sister, Mrs. Falconer, ol

Hastings, and was iced by her brother-in-law, Mr. L. Bowater, of Marotiri.

When the happy couple left late by car for the east coast, the brid< travelled in a blue wool georgelt edge-to-edge coat over a mermai' green model frock with a merman green hat and navy accessories. Their future home will be at. For
