Record Entries.
A total of 380 entries have been received for the swimming carnival at the Gonville baths next Saturday night. This is reported to be a record for Wanganui, and approaches a New Zealand record. In addition to Wanganui’s best, leading swimmers from Christchurch. Auckland, Wellington, Rotorua, Gisborne, Taranaki, Palmerston North, Levin, and Feilding will be competing.
