ARAMOHO BOATING CLUB GEDYE PAIRS CONTEST The Gedye Pairs trophy was concluded on Saturday afternoon under ideal conditions, and some splendid races were witnessed. The final was won by P. Stowers (stroke) and J. Jeromson (bow). Results were as follows: — First Round.—Pepper won from Boyland, by two lengths: Dearsley won from Fothergill, by two lengths; Harrison won from Benefield, by one length; Stowers won from McNicol, by one length; Laird won from Brown, by half a length; Sleyer had the bye. Second Round.—Sleyer won from Pepper, by one length: Harrison and Dearsley dead-heated: Harrison won from Dearsley, by a canvas, after a re-row; Stowers wpn from Laird, by one length. Semi-final. Harrison won from Sleyer, by one length. | Final.—Stowers defeated Harrison, by one length.
