LIFE-SAVING CHAMPIONSHIPS Our country readers are afforded an excellent opportunity to witness lhe West Coast surf life-saving cham- | pionships, at. Castlecliff, next Sunday. The Railways Department has arranged an extensive programme of excursion trains to Wanganui for this |day, and it is expected the trains will be well patronised. Local residents will no doubt invite a large number of their country friends to Wanganui for the day. Particulars of the excursions will be found in our advertising columns in this issue.
