MOTOR COLLISION

LORRY AND MOTOR-CYCLE. MAORI SERIOUSLY INJURED. ACCIDENT AT TAIHAPE. (Own Correspondent.) TAIHAPE, Feb. 24. A collision between a motor-lorry and a motor-cycle occurred at the intersection of Moa and Hautapu Streets, near Mrs. E. Jones’ residence, yesterday afternoon, and resulted in the motor cyclist suffering a fractured leg and a broken jaw. The lorry was driven by a Maori (Mr. J. Williams, of Taihape), while the rider of the motor-cycle was another Maori (Mr. T. Hipango, of Karioi).
