STANLEY McKAY’S GAIETIES Since they were here last week, Stanley McKay’s Gaieties have appeared with great success in Haweia and New Plymouth, and will arrive in Wanganui in time for the gala gift matinee, commencing at 2.30 this afternoon. Special preparations have been made for the opening production, “Let’s Go Hunting,” which wiil be spectacularly staged, with its colourful scena, “Off to the Hunt,” when Stella Collier will sing the famous “Tally-Ho!” from “Dorothy.” The red coats of the huntsmen and huntresses, with a background of typically English rural scenery, should make a delightful picture. Stan Foley and Alec. McKinnon will appear in a number of new humorous sketches and comicalities and all the other members of the company will present fresh items, those by the ballet being particularly interesting. The final performance will be staged on Monday night, when another new revue “The Laughter Express” will be presented. The plans for reserves are on view at Dobbs Bros.
