N.Z. DEFENCE LEAGUE
ACTIVITY AT WAVERLEY (Own Correspondent) WAVERLEY, Feb. 23. At the fortnightly committee mepling of the Waveriey branch of the N.Z. Defence League it was decider that two members would visit th* fortnightly parades of the Waveriey Troop of the Q.A.M.R. It was also decided to ask Lieut. Col. W. J. Davis to write a short his tory of the doings of the regiment in its earlier days and to talk to th: members on that subject. The committee also are making preparations for the impending visit tc Waveriey of Major-General Sir Andrew Russell (patron), and the Hon W. Perry, M.L.C. (president) of the Defence League.
