LONDON SHEEPSKIN SALE
Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram, dated February 16:— At the London sheepskin sales there was a good selection; 3740 bales offered, 85 per cent, sold; good competition. America principal operators, with good support from home trade and Continent. Halfbreds unchanged; other descriptions: change, if any, is in favour of sellers. Range of prices is as follows: Merino, three-quarter to full-wool-led, not quoted, quarter to half-wool-led not quoted, short and shorn not quoted; crossbred, three-quarter to full-woolled fine 63d to 83d, threequarter to full-woolled medium and edarse. 6d to Bd, quarter to halfwoolled medium and coarse, sid to 7d; short and shorn not quoted; lambs, 63d to BJd.
