TARANAKI PIG COUNCIL

FIELD DAYS AND ADDRESSES The Taranaki Pig Council has arranged a series o£ addresses and field days for the Wanganui district. The speaker will be Mr. H. N. Pierson, extension officer of the New Zealand Pig Council, who will work in conjunction with the district supervisor, Mr. C. H. M. Sorenson. There is to be an address in the Bulls Town Hall next Monday night (February 27), a field day at the Okoia Dairy Company’s pig farm, Okoia, on Tuesday (February 28) at 1 o'clock in the afternoon and at night a picture will be shown in the Westmere Hall. On Wednesday, March 1, a field day is to take place at Walker and Sons’ farm at Hawera, beginning at 11 a.m., and that night a picture will be shown at Waverley. Members of pig clubs and young farmers’ clubs are invited to the lectures and field days.
