N.Z. LABOUR PARTY. FAREWELL FUNCTION TO MR. ORMOND WILSON. A farewell evening and presentation has been arranged by the N.Z. Labour Party to Mr. Ormond Wilson, which will take place in the Civic Theatre, Marton, on Friday evening. March 3, commencing at 8 o'clock. Dancing, vocal and instrumental items, popular orchestral music and supper will be the order of the evening. No invations and everybody is welcome. The charges of admission arc gents 2s and ladies Is 6d. MARTON CIVIC THEATRE. "SING YOU SINNERS." For the first time in his long and '■ colourful motion picture career. Bing Crosby tails to “get the girl” in his new comedy, Paramount's "Sing You ■ Sinners.” which will be finally shown ■ to-night at the Civic Theatre. In- | stead, this is done by romantic Fred [ Mac Murray, who will be seen as I Bing's brother in this storv of family life.
